Item Description

A gorgeous thumbnail specimen of Hemimorphite from the 79 Mine in Arizona, arguably the best in its size range that we've had to offer. It's not easy to find attractive thumbnails from this locality, or good thumbnails of Hemimorphite in general. This piece features several beautiful, soft silvery-blue colored "balls" of Hemimorphite measuring up to about 9 mm across, sitting on a thin layer of matrix. The light blue color is due to minor copper content in the Hemimorphite. No damage on the front/display side and I love the composition, as it's such a showy and aesthetic piece in a smaller size. If you collect thumbnails, Arizona minerals or secondary ore minerals, this is something that you're not likely to find anywhere else on the market, especially in this quality so don't miss out.
