Hemimorphite (ex Dave Bergman Collection)

Here we have a beautiful classic Hemimorphite specimen from the famous Ojuela Mine in Mapimi, Mexico. This attractive small cabinet sized piece features many fine quality prismatic groups of sharp, lustrous white Hemimorphite measuring up to 1.6 cm sitting on oxidized matrix. Excellent quality (no real damage that I can see), superb aesthetics, and a true classic from Mexico. From the collection of Colorado mining legend, Dave Bergman. Dave is now retired, but among other things, he was the foreman and primary person in charge of recovering specimens at the famous Sweet Home Mine near Alma, Colorado during the late 1970s.
