Item Description
Gemmy, intensely sparkling, colorless, hemimorphite crystals in spherical aggregates cover the undulating plate in massive, on this classic, old-time and showy specimen from the Sterling Hill Mine. Old-timers called hemimorphite "calamine" from here, pre-1900. Excellent material from the noted George Elling Collection.
