Item Description

Sheaves of glassy, terminated hemimorphite blades dramatically fill a sculptural vug in limonite matrix jackstraw-style on this very rich and showy specimen from renowned Santa Eulalia. The pearlescent blades reach 3.7 cm on this striking two-sided piece from the well-known early 1990s finds on Level 16 at the Potosi Mine. Complete all-around and in great shape, for all of the crystal density. The interior is amazingly pristine and the bit of periphery wear along one edge is certainly only a modest detraction to this excellent piece. Ex R.D. Mushlitz Collection. Classic and rich Potosi Mine hemimorphite with two display views.
