Item Description
Sterling Hill has produced some very attractive display specimens of Hemimorphite, with good sized, eye-visible crystals. This piece is a classic example of said material featuring radiating clusters of tightly intergrown white / colorless Hemimorphite measuring up to 1.7 cm sitting on a thin layer of tan-brown matrix. A few nicks and bruises can be seen, but it is a good representation of this classic old material, that for a time was actually known as "Calamine".
