Item Description
An old-time European classic from Sardinia. Pretty powder-blue, translucent, hemimorphite botryoids line numerous, sculptural vugs on all sides of the distinctive matrix on this showy and excellent specimen. Historic material. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. VERY RARE and highly valued in Europe, where I have seen similar for 400 Euros easily. IN the USA when they (rarely) turn up in old collections, I find them often relabelled as Hemimorphite from Magistral in Mexico or sometimes even as Kelly Smithsonites!
