Sheaf-like aggregates of glassy, translucent parallel-growth hemimorphite crystals with striking chisel terminations on spare gossan matrix form an aesthetic, sculptural and pristine 360-degree small cabinet from famed Mina Ojuela. The largest upright crystal is 3.5 cm tall. Ex Dr. Peter Megaw Collection, well-known Mexico specialist and author. Hemimorphite is a classic species from Ojuela along with legrandite, adamite, mimetite, wulfenite, rosasite and other species. An outstanding small cabinet hemimorphite with artistic form from Mina Ojuela. Valued at $900 on one of his past labels for exchange/deaccession. This is a superior quality specimen in the size range.
