Hemimorphite and Mimetite on fluorescent Willemite (rare combo)

Item Description

A colorful, rich and uncommon combination specimen from this obscure mine, probably worked in the 1950s and 60s. Around 2011-2014 artisanal miners worked the locale for specimens and came up with some fine pieces. Pretty powder-blue translucent hemimorphite botryoids and and lustrous, translucent spherical aggregates of goldenrod-yellow mimetite crystals richly and aesthetically cover the mounded matrix rich in fluorescent willemite microcrystals. Valued at $950 by the former dealer. Excellent combination material.
