Leadville is well known for its Silver deposits, but the secondary ore minerals are beloved by Colorado collectors. Here we have a great secondary ore specimen. This piece features good coverages of white radial aggregates of Hemimorphite sitting on gossan matrix. I know its not what you typically expect from a Colorado specimen, and this material is rare from this area. This specimen is close to 40 years old as it was collected in mid 1970s and came from the dealer stock of Keith Williams.
