We have been trying to bring you a variety of the wonderful blue hemimorphites that have been coming from Wenshan over the past few years. This is an impressive and scuptural large specimen. All three sides of the thin boxwork matrix are filled or covered with pretty rich sky-blue hemimorphite. This piece has moderate luster and is actually slightly translucent. I particularly like the rippled side of the piece. They really add pizzazz. The bit of contacting is certainly a modest detraction. This is a striking large specimen of the species and find.
