Hemimorphite

Item Description

Mapimi hemimorphite specimens are a Mexican classic and this is a striking, large, "sandwich-style" plate. The front of the sturdy gossan matrix is peppered with gorgeous stellate sprays of gemmy hemimorphite blades. The crystals on the back are pearlescent and blocky. The "sandwich" vein in the middle is lined with gemmy blades, just like the front. Fine and very showy large older material.
