We have been trying to bring you a variety of the wonderful blue hemimorphites that have been coming from Wenshan over the past couple of years. This striking, sculptural, large, two-sided rib is covered with beautiful hemimorphite. The bubbly botryoidal, 3-dimensionl surfaces are a beautiful powder-blue to blue-gray, on one end. The powder-blue has a matte finish, while the blue-gray is lustrous - a smithsonite-like luster - and actually slightly translucent. The color in person is even more intense than the pics show. For color and uniqueness, this represents one of the most unusual new finds of the past couple of years! Excellent and colorful material.
