Item Description

Two strikingly different generations of hemimorphite fill the very sculptural vug on this classic and excellent specimen from the famous 79 Mine. Lustrous, nubby gray botryoids, to 1.3 cm, aesthetically fill the vug and are complimented by starkly contrasting bundles of tiny, very glassy, colorless blades. The periphery wear reveals the radial growth of the hemimorphite blades, adding pizzazz. Ex Bruce Murphy Arizona Collection and collected by George Godas and John Callahan in September, 2002.
