Item Description

Beautiful and classic hemimorphite from the famous and historic Ojuela Mine. Two striking, radiating, tapered pinwheels plus smaller sprays are artistically set on the gossan matrix along with very glassy, colorless calcite rhombohedrons. The dramatic, upright, two-sided pinwheel is 4.8 cm across and the smaller flat lying fan is 2.8 cm across. The sparkle and luster of the white hemimorphite is outstanding and the jagged terminations on the large pinwheel really accentuate the piece. The impressive large pinwheel is nearly pristine, with only modest bruising. Ex De Natura (Les Presmyk) dealer stock and valued by Les at $1250. High quality, visually impactful and classic older Ojuela hemimorphite.
