Outstanding, highly sculptural, aesthetic and rich, large, 360-degree, 2-generation hemimorphite from famed Mina Ojuela, probably 1980s-1990s production. The striking mounded piece on sturdy gossan matrix is dramatically and richly festooned on the front, top and one end with beautiful sprays of classic, gemmy and very glassy, tabular hemimorphite blades, to about 1.7 cm. The blades spill over onto the back side, which is richly covered with RARE style, small, densely intergrown, very glassy, colorless hemimorphite prisms. RARE, very choice and impressive, two-generation hemimorphite from the Ruben Avila Collection (a dealer and collector based out of Mexico City).
