Item Description

Amazing boxwork form and vivid blue color on this older, most impressive, large mounded hemimorphite specimen from the most famous locality in China, one of the first Chinese localities for the species. Vivid blue, matte luster translucent botryoids and banded hemimorphite dramatically line all of the myriad of vugs on this surreal piece. The periphery wear on the surface is what it is, typical of this material - but the pockets within are protected and fine, the contrasts giving a stunning presence of this 3-sided exotic specimen. This style came out early, in the early 2000s, and is quite different from modern material.
