Hematite with Rutile and Quartz

Some of the most iconic Rutile / Hematite specimens in the world are those from Novo Horizonte. This piece is a cool example of the 2008 find featuring golden Rutile crystals growing off of natural silvery Hematite center which are partially included / growing against a slightly smoky Quartz crystal. The specimen is more of a reference piece, as the Quartz has a contact on the front, but it absolutely transparent in the center, creating a perfect window to view the lovely iron and titanium oxides respectively.
