Hematite with Rhodochrosite

Splendent, dark metallic-gray, layered, hematite plates are aesthetically set in the front of the hematite matrix, which is richly covered with opaque, terra cotta-red rhodochrosite rhombs. This is an unusual hematite in combination with rhodochrosite from the Kalahari. The bit of noted hematite plate edge wear is a modest detraction to this very uncommon combination.
