Item Description

A classic and excellent Cavradi hematite specimen of splendent, parallel-growth hematite blades. The hematite blades have nifty, stepped-growth faces and both sides of the piece have embedded, gemmy, wine-red, rutile crystals. This fine piece looks great from both sides and the transparent, glassy, terminated quartz crystal is a super accent. The very high luster, excellent form and rutile association with quartz make for an excellent specimen. From an old California collection. Valued at $200-250.
