Item Description

A sharp, super lustrous hematite crystal with the classic style of crystallization this mine is famous for, and a major thumbnail sized example of competition quality. It is special because it is better than most, with a lustrous, broad face on top. The crystal exceeds an inch and really fills a thumbnail display box. These mirror-lustrous hematites, for their habit, are to me among the more impressive examples of the species. EX: Jingnan (Tom) Zhang thumbnail collection. Significant, competitive-level thumbnail, valued over $1000.
