Item Description
The Hematite crystals from Mt Calvario in Sicily are notably distinctive in their form / habits. This piece is a very good sized example with brilliant metallic grey-black faces, but it's not a flat blade, as it has more interesting features with somewhat "skeletal" forms as the thin crystals are slightly layered on top of one another in parallel growth. It's hard to describe, best seen in person, but we've done our best to illustrate the crystallization in the video. If you're a fan of Hematite, this is something that really stands out from your typical styles for the species, and would make a great addition to any collection.
