Item Description
Brilliant, botryoidal, black hematite banded on dense limonite from a very obscure locale in Thuringia. The chatoyant shimmer of the scalloped faces when rotated under light is striking and facinating. VERY rare and old material. Ex A.J. Harstad and Dennis Mullane Collections, with an old cloth label on the back of the piece.
