Hematite rosettes and Quartz

Item Description

A striking jackstraw cluster of glassy water-clear quartz points is aesthetically set on intergrown flower-like hematite rosettes on this dramatic and excellent two-sided combination specimen from this well-known Chinese locale. The upright crystals reach 4.0 cm and the horizontal quartz on one side is 6.0 cm. Expertly collected, all of the primary upright crystals are pristine and the broken crystals on the periphery are barely noticable. This small hill deposit is worked by local farmers for mineral specimens. Choice, excellent and very sculptural combination material.
