Outstanding combination piece featuring two classic and immediately recognizable "swiss style from Fibbia" Hematite Roses intergrown with sharp Quartz crystals, all on what looks like a granite matrix. The Hematites, of which the largest cluster is 1.9 cm across, have good metallic luster and bright, shiny edges. The form and composition of Hematite blades form excellent roses, which is one of the most classic and desired habits for Hematite. The Quartz is lustrous and gemmy, and the largest crystal is 1 cm. Highly aesthetic combination piece. These pieces are part of a century-old Italian collection that was recently acquired. Gorgeous and metallic, we have only cleaned this with water but it could be brightened further if desired.
