Item Description
This lustrous, doubly terminated, black hematite rose has numerous parallel growth crystals, to 3.3 cm across.Pristine in every way! It is definitely one of the finer in the size for these classic hematite roses not as well known as their Swiss counterparts, but nevertheless ouststanding specimens. These come out of the iron mines here very rarely, and generally are thought to have mostly come to market in the 1970s-1980s - not recently in any quality. From the Keith Williams Collection of miniatures and small cabinet specimens - Keith was a well known dealer and collector for decades before retiring recently.
