Item Description

A really cool piece of reddish-brown Hematite that has pseudomorphed / replaced Kaolinite to create an attractive thumbnail specimen. The piece was found in the town of Mitzpe Ramon which was founded in 1951 as a camp for the workers building the road to Eilat. This piece came to us directly from a source who obtained it in Israel. How often does one have the chance to buy Israeli specimens?
