A cute, 2.3 cm rosette of brilliant hematite plates is aesthetically set in the sculptural, crevasse-like vug lined with beta-style quartz crystals in massive hematite matrix on this showy large combination from this classic Cumbria locale. The bit of bruising to the rosette is certainly only a modest detraction to this excellent piece. Hefty iron ore at 932 grams or just over 2 pounds. Ex Paco Gutierrez Collection.
