Item Description

An aesthetic miniature sized specimen of these distinctive and well-known Hematite pseudomorphs after Marcasite from the White Desert in Egypt. This specimen is features many sharp, bladed crystals of what used to be Marcasite, now preserved quite beautifully by dark reddish-bronze metallic Hematite measuring up to 1.6 cm. A beautiful piece of this classic material, worth adding to any pseudomorph collection for the size, quality and beautiful crystallization. I love the fact that the original Marcasite crystals are still quite sharp and well-defined, eve after being replaced by the Hematite.
