Item Description

This area just outside of Patagonia, is famous for its pseudomorphs of Hematite after Magnetite. Over much of the time since 2002, in spurts, these unique specimens have trickled out of this area and continue to surprise us with the sharp symmetry of these amazing pseudomorphs. The hematite has replaced the stunning sculptural form of the original octahedral magnetite crystals. This eye-catching specimen has fairly good luster and have impressive sharp faces. It is complete-all-around (save the very top and bottom of the piece) and in very good shape.
