Item Description

This is a fine quality, very rare, old-time pseudomorph from the famous Pöhla-Tellerhäuser Mine featuring, what was formerly a group of acicular "sprays" of Actinolite which have been pseudomorphed into metallic dark grey colored Hematite. The Actinolite crystals have formed in an almost jackstraw-style pattern and can be seen on nearly ever side of the specimen. Individual crystals measure approximately up to 4.1 cm, but are a little bit difficult to complete isolate. I've only seen a select FEW pieces of this material over the years, so don't miss out as they are incredibly hard to find on the market. From the prestigious pseudomorph collection of Dr. Wouter van Tichelen of Belgium.
