Stunning silver-gray luster on the hematite that has pseudomorphed this striking, 360-degree, sculptural cluster of sharp magnetite octahedrons. The impressive large pseudo at the crest is 3.7 cm tall and is dramatically accented with skeletal features on all four sides. The many small octos below add much character and the small rust-red hematite "droplets" scattered about really add color and contrast. Every rotation presents a distinctively different visual aspect to this classy example from 2000s finds at the locale. Fine examples of this quality are simply uncommon these days. At the time, this would have been valued around $500-800, in the late 90s and early 2000s.
