Double your pleasure with sculptural, decidedly different looking floater miniatures of hematite pseudomorphs after octahedral magnetite crystals from the well-known 2000's finds at this locale. The larger 4-sided crystal looks like a rocket ship and has striking skeletal features. The smaller piece has a striking arborescent look. An excellent pair from the Kay Robertson Collection # 13146 and 13147. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
