Over much of the time since 2002, in spurts, these unique specimens have trickled out of this area and continue to surprise us with the sharp symmetry of these amazing replacements (where the hematite has replaced earlier magnetite). With fidelity, the hematite has replaced the stunning sculptural form of the original octahedral magnetite crystals. This arborescent specimen has a good luster and some of the pseudos on the "trunk" has impressive hoppered growth. It is comple all-around and pristine and rests on a bit of volcanic matrix, which is uncommon. Every turn gives a strikingly different pespective!! Valued at $750-1000
