Three, pristine, sharp, sparkly, pseudomorphs of hematite after magnetite octahedrons are aesthetically clustered on matrix on this excellent miniature from this well-known 1990s Argentina find. A secondary overgrowth of tiny hematites gives the piece a nubby look, adding character. Every turn presents a different perspective to this fine piece. These caused a major stir, when they hit the market. Complete all-around and pristine. These artistic pieces came from a volcano in a national park, where collecting is now strictly forbidden.
