An aesthetic 360-degree matrix cluster of stacked, splendent metallic-gray pseudomorphs of hematite after sharp magnetite octahedrons from the famous 1990s finds at this volcano. The sculptural elongated doubly terminated octo on the side is 4.8 cm and some of the crystals have skeletal features. A secondary overgrowth of tiny hematites gives the piece a nubby look, adding character. Every turn presents a different perspective to this fine piece. These caused a major stir, when they hit the market. Complete all-around and pristine. These artistic pieces came from a volcano in a national park, where collecting is now strictly forbidden.
