A striking and sculptural small cabinet of stacked sharp and scintillating hematite pseudomorphs after magnetite octahedrons from the well-known 2002 find in Argentina. The piece looks like a metallic Christmas tree with ornaments! The large octo is 3.0 cm and some of the crystals have skeletal features. Every turn presents a different perspective to this fine piece. These caused a major stir, when they hit the market. Complete all-around and in great shape. You barely notice the lightly bruised tip and basal periphery wear. These artistic pieces came from a volcano in a national park, where collecting is now strictly forbidden.
