A VERY RARE and impressive pseudomorph from this old tin mining district in the fabled Erzgebirge. A sharp calcite scalenohedron has been replaced by multi-hued mottled hematite. One striking side looks like an arrowhead and the angled sharp pseudo at the base adds character. Complete all-around and pristine. An exceptional, perhaps unique 360-degree calcite pseudo from Eibenstock. Outstanding material from the Wouter van Tichelen Collection. Try to find another!
