A very nifty RARITY from this well-known locale, famous for topaz, red beryl and bixbyite specimens. We buy all of these I ever can get! Hematite has pseudomorphed an adorable, sculptural, snake-like cluster of sharp almandine garnet crystals. Pristine. Almandine is VERY RARE from here anyways and these pseudos are just not found often. A MUST for the locality or species collector, but more than that, just a really neat specimen! Older material from the Jaime Bird Collection, dating to the 1960s or early 70s.
