Hematite on Matrix (rare old classic)

These old rounded hematite growths from Bisbee are fairly uncommon. We have only had a few others before, such as this one shown here: https://www.mineralauctions.com/items/hematite-rare-bisbee-ex-al-viorin-coll-66197 which states" Botryoidal hematite is RARE from the famous mines at Bisbee. Highly lustrous clusters of bubbly botryoids dramatically both sides and the crest of the vuggy sculptural massive hematite matrix on this very fine and rich rarity from the famous Shattuck Mine. The mine produced from 1909-1973. An important find of this rarity, as even the crosscut and mine level is known. Ex Al Viorin Collection # 519. A MUST for the Bisbee or species collector!". This is one of the very few out to market in a decade, now coming back in the Reynolds Collection. (an old dealer label in the box misattributes the name to another Bisbee mine, a small difference only)
