Item Description
Tight cluster of classic Hematite crystals from the famous old iron Congonhas Mine in Brazil. The luster is mirror-like on almost every face ( which is very difficult to adequately capture in pics), and the larger crystal has a different habit that the smaller crystals. The dominant face on the larger, 3 cm crystal also has a very fine, terraced texture to it, which is both attractive and interesting. Much better in person, this is a good example of a choice old Brazilian Hematite.
