Item Description

A strange hematite consisting of sparkling, scintillating crystals formed atop rolling hillocks of earlier hematite. This is the kind of thing we see as vapor deposition on the slopes of smoking volcanoes in Italy, in the Andes, in Argentina, and a few other places. I had not seen such material from China before but these came out a few years ago and then, no more. They look like scintillating jet black clusters of organic growths, very unusual!
