A classic old-time hematite "kidney ore" specimen nicely accented with two small patches of sparkly specularite hematite from the famous iron mines of Egremont. The highly lustrous, sculptural mounded specimen is comprised of bubbly banded botryoids with rich rust-brown color. The contact has no damage, per se and adds character.
