Item Description
Hematite "iron roses" are some of the most highly sought after hematites in the world. They are relatively rare from Brazil, compared to classic European Alpine specimens. This is a very aesthetic cluster of lovely hematite rosettes. The color and luster are superb, with the rosettes all offset just right so that each can be appreciated. What is even more special it that the edges and faces of the blades also have superb mirror-like luster, which you don't often see. The quality, especially for Brazil and not Swiss examples of this habit, is exceptional and has multiple fine display possibilities. In great shape overall. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection # 6395.
