"Iron Roses" from Fibbia are the most classic and stereotypical of the old-style hematites from the Alps, and one of the great European classics. However, try actually FINDING one on the market - few are available that have any sort of aesthetics and complete form. This aesthetic and rich two-sided piece features lustrous tightly intergrown "roses" on the front and smaller, more open "roses" with a matte coating on the reverse. Very interesting chemistry on this fine specimen. A few of the roses are contacted on the front, but have very little actual damage. The back is essentially pristine. Classic, rich and excellent two-sided hematite "Eisenroses". This very fine piece has multiple display possibilities. Valued at $1750-2000.
