Item Description

What a wonderful non-Alpine "Iron Rose" of Hematite from this classic Ouro Preto district in Brazil. The hexagonal blades on this specimen have excellent, splendent, metallic silvery-grey faces forming the classic "rose" shape that makes these specimens so desirable. The piece is complete on all sides, save the bottom where it came off the matrix. A contact on the back side of the piece does not take away from the attractiveness and character of this attractive miniature display specimen.
