What a wonderful non-Alpine "Iron Rose" of Hematite from this classic Ouro Preto district in Brazil. The hexagonal blades on this specimen have excellent, metallic silvery-grey faces forming the classic "rose" shape that makes these specimens so desirable. The piece is complete on all sides, save the bottom where it came off the matrix. The attractiveness and character of this attractive miniature display specimen are very good for the locality.
