Hematite (iron rose)

Item Description

A fine and classic "iron rose" hematite, from the famous and important iron mines of this region of Brazil. This is a large, full, robust miniature, showing the obvious flowery shape they are famous for. Many are thin crystals and thin clusters, but this is volumetric and 3-D in style, and hefty in the hand. It has minor edge wear and one crystal edge on the left, just to the rear, is somewhat damaged but not visible from the front view, and so there is damage to the left-rear but no sign of significant damage is obvious from the front display face and it looks very impactful on a shelf, so long as you put it at eye level or up and do not look down on the rear of it.
