Hematite-included Quartz scepters! (rare)

Item Description

Sceptered hematite-included quartz crystals are rare from any locality. This a beautiful and striking specimen from a recent find in an uncommon Chinese locale - Yuncheng Prefecture, Shanxi Province. The scepters on the glassy, sharp, quartz crystals are included with rust-red hematite, while the nubby colorless stalks are preferentially coated with hematite. Some of the scepters are also phantomed. The stunning multiply terminated large crystal is 3.5 cm. Essentially pristine, with only a few of the secondary terminations being very gently bruised. Very fine and rare quality material.
