Hematite-included Quartz

Beautiful, hematite-included coral-orange quartz crystals, to 2.6 cm, are festooned on the matrix plate on this colorful and striking specimen from the unique mid-1990s finds at the 2nd Sovetskii Mine. Strikingly, the crystals are preferetially coated with drusy quartz on the back sides. Choice, nearly pristine material with only a few broken crystals on the periphery. From an East Coast collection.
