Hematite-included Quartz

Item Description

A sculptural and dense cluster of quartz crystals colored a deep, fire brick-red by hematite. The luster is excellent, and the largest crystal is 6.0 cm. The radiating spray of smaller points next to the large crystal is striking. A small bruise is noted at the tip of the large crystal. Scattered broken smaller crystals (none in spray) and some periphery wear are noted. This remains an aesthetic and excellent example of the species from this locale. Ex Charlie Key dealer stock.
